From September 21 to 25, 2026, Bologna once again becomes the world’s capital of ceramics and bathroom design with the 43rd edition of Cersaie. Five days during which the BolognaFiere exhibition centre fills up with exhibitors, professionals and visitors from all over the world. Here’s the complete guide to planning your visit: dates, halls, how to get there and where to stay without wasting time on logistics.

What is Cersaie?

Cersaie is the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, promoted by Confindustria Ceramica and organised by Edi.Cer. For over forty years it has been the benchmark event for anyone working in surfaces, tiles and bathroom design: architects, interior designers, retailers, installers and construction companies travel to Bologna from dozens of countries to discover new products and attend the extensive conference programme dedicated to architecture and design.

Cersaie 2026 dates

The 2026 edition runs from Monday 21 to Friday 25 September, with the following hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

A useful note if you’ve attended previous editions: the 2026 calendar has been moved forward by about a week compared to its usual late-September slot, because BolognaFiere will host the Davis Cup finals for three consecutive editions starting this year. Double-check the new dates before booking.

Tickets and registration: how to get in

Entry to Cersaie is free, but online registration on the fair’s official website is mandatory: no on-site registration is available. Your personal ticket arrives by email and is valid for all five days of the fair. For 2026, the registration platform typically opens from July onward — it’s worth registering early to avoid a last-minute rush.
